
                            HELP ON MESSAGE EDITING

Several commands are available to you from this prompt.  NOTE:  Not all of 
these commands may be available to all users at all times.  The commands are:

<L>ist

        Allows you to see what you have typed as it looks in the 
        line-oriented message editor.

<V>iew

        Allows you to see what you have typed as it will be formatted
        by the system after saving the message.  (This is called word
        wrap mode, and is applied to all messages on the system so that
        display adjust automatically to the width of the reader's screen.)

<A>gain

        Allows you to read the original message you're replying to (if 
        the message you're composing is a reply to an existing message).

<E>dit

        This brings up a menu of additional message editing options. 
        PLEASE NOTE:  These additional options are available to you
        at all times - you do not need to press <E>dit first to 
        use them.

                <G>o Full Scrn

                        Go to full-screen editing mode.  This
                        prompt will only appear if you have ANSI
                        enabled in your user profile configuration.

                <C>ont

                        Continue adding to your message.

                <I>ns

                        Insert a line of text into your message.

                <T>ext Subst

                        Do a search-and-replace style text 
                        substitution.

                <D>el/Repl Line

                        Delete a line from your message, or retype
                        an entire line.

                <H>elp

                        See the help information you're reading now.

<R>cpt

        Allows you to request an active return receipt for the
        message you're entering.  When you activate this option,
        a message will be sent automatically by the system to you
        after the recipient reads your message.

<F>ile

        Allows you to enclose a file with this message.  When activated,
        you can upload a file of any kind, which will be made available
        to anyone who can read your message.  (If your message is private,
        only the recipient and the System Operator(s) can read your message
        or download any file enclosed with it.)

<S>ave

        Allows you to save your message on the system and return to the
        menu (or continue reading messages if your message was a reply).

<Q>uit

        Allows you to abort the message entry process without saving.

<H>elp

        See the help information you're reading now.

Ctrl-Q

        Allows you to quote lines from the original message if the 
        message you're entering is a reply.
